DUMONT Guide MARKEN 2021
Dumont, the prestigious tourist guide in Germany, also published in other countries (in the Netherlands it is published at the “anwb” house), one of the most famous and read, edited by the writer Annette Krus-Bonazza, has dedicated a whole page to us insede, best describing our philosophy of hospitality and therefore of life. The article, among the few inside, is under the specific LIEBLINGSORT (favorite places) and entitled Der langen Rede wert (it is worth talking about it for a long time) fills us with pride and above all comforts us that our efforts and dedication have not gone unnoticed.
The same guide Dumont had already in previous editions cut out our Borgo Cisterna as the Main Suggest.
SPORT FOR NATURE AWARD
It is with heartfelt pride that we receive, on 2 September 2020, directly in our Borgo and delivered to us by Studio Tirelli in Milan, the certificate of recognition that rewards us within the SPORT FOR NATURE association, for the constant attention to nature and the harmonious context of our site in the preservation of the originality of the landscape and in the constant awareness of these topics. The association is quite well known, especially among sportsmen and supported by very famous personalities from the world of sport and counts among the awardees and supporters many world sports associations:

We are extremely proud to have received, again and also for the year 2020, the prestigious “ITALIAN ROOMS” award in the “Hotels and Restaurants of Italy 2020” guide published by TCI. The recognition “Stanze Italiane” motivates this attribution for structures … “with character and personality, with attention to detail and furnishings, which are the expression of an Italian tradition of hospitality, often of a family nature, which knows how to convey the value of hospitality at reasonable prices “.
Madison Magazine – USA
The famous American food and wine critic and writer Nancy Christy honored us with a beautiful article that appeared in November 20123 in Madison Magazine, USA.
The article, “A Recipe for Hospitality” describes the encounter with our village and our family, in addition to the cooking course on homemade pasta that she herself wanted to follow from us, under the guidance of Stefania, for learn the secrets of our “lucertoloni…..lizards”. The Italie Magazine, specializing in tourism offers in our country, distributed in the Netherlands, has made an article in the number 3 of 2019 a choice of the 25 best facilities in Tuscany, Umbria and Marche, awarding our Borgo Cisterna for inclusion in this prestigious selection.
The tourist promotion magazine curated by the german Siglinde Fischer dedicated the cover of the Marche for the year 2012, in whose article “EIN BESSERES LEBEN” (A BETTER LIFE) explains the reasons for our choice of life.
Once again, the prestigious magazine on the world of renovation and ancient dwellings CasAntica dedicated its cover to the collector’s issue (June-November 2011) of its magazines published in 2009: the village and its staircase stand out on the cover.

We are extremely proud of the fact that our Borgo was chosen by the editorial staff of VIAGGI di Repubblica, one of the most representative 5-star Borghi in Italy: The article by Laura Larcan “Those Medieval 5-Star Villages” was published on 2 March 2010 .

The cover of the July-August 2009 issue of the prestigious magazine CasAntica was reserved for our village Cisterna: in fact, the cover photo depicts an interior of our medieval complex, namely the fourteenth-century romantic room.
In the same issue, a beautiful 17-page article describes the Borgo, the Company and the family with a wealth of details and images: at the heart of the interview are the reasons for the choice of life.

We are extremely proud to have received the prestigious “ITALIAN ROOMS” award in the “Hotels and Restaurants of Italy 2020” guide published by TCI also for the year 2020. The award was collected directly in Rome last October 28, 2019 during a remarkable ceremony.
